Who is eligible for membership?
RN leaders or aspiring leaders in administration/management. This includes those RN’s who hold or aspire to hold an organizational role of administration/management; faculty in nursing programs, including deans and directors; consultants in nursing administration/management practice; persons working in professional associations, regulatory agencies and/or accrediting health care organizations; and editors of professional journals.
What is cost of membership?
Annual membership is $50.00.
How often are the meetings?
General membership meetings occur 4 times per year with programs that have included guest lecturers, ONE-CT updates from subcommittees (membership, program, legislative, and nominations) and dinner. Past meeting lectures have included:
• Importance of legislation and policy awareness for nurse leaders.
• Guest lecturers from New York and Massachusetts on chapter activities.
• Path toward becoming a Connecticut State Legislator.
• Transformational Leadership and Complexity Science: Application to Practice
